Josh & Juice Shine at the 2018 Seniors Presentation Night

Josh Mifsud took out the Best & Fairest Award at the 2018 KVAFC Seniors Presentation, held in the Balcony rooms at the Shelley Beach Surf Club, on Friday, 21 September. Having had a number of injuries over the past couple of years, Miffy gave an emotional speech and said he wasn't sure if he was going to be playing this year, let alone finish the year, but his body held up and that the award made it all worthwhile.

Another highlight of the evening was when the President, Paul Forster, announced that Justin Daley had been awarded Life Membership of the Club.  'Juice' started out in the Juniors as a teenager, some 20 years ago, played in the 2008 Black Diamond AFL Premiership team for the Bombers and, whilst still having the odd kick in Ressies, now has children of his own in Auskick and lends a hand there as well.

Award winners on the night included:

Paul Harrison Medal
(First Grade B&F) - Josh Mifsud

Sean Riedel Medal
(Womens B&F) - Ashleigh Page

Bob Brown Medal
(Res Grade B&F) - Greg Rolfe
